Let us walk through exactly what happens when you press the big green button.
1. The session opens
The server opens a session record for you, works out what you will earn in 24 hours at your current multiplier, and locks it in. The line you see on screen, "in 24 hours ≈ +0.30 PRM", is exactly that number.
Locking the amount up front is deliberate: even if your multiplier changes while the session runs, that day's earnings stay at the figure you were quoted. You know what you are getting from the start.
2. The clock runs
There is nothing for you to do during those 24 hours. Close the app, turn the phone off, lose your connection. The counter lives on the server.
3. It is credited
When the time is up the system closes the session, adds the amount to your balance and sends you a notification. You do not need to have the app open; open it hours later and your balance will have grown.
Base earnings
A session with no multiplier earns a base of 0.30 PRM. If your multiplier is above 1.00, that figure grows accordingly.
What if you miss a day?
No penalty at all, you simply do not earn that day. But consecutive days do carry their own reward: streak tiers. We covered those in the multiplier post.
